Happy Thursday beautiful people. I believe we are all doing our best to stay safe.
I would like to share the story behind this lovely piece I’m wearing. Whitney, my lovely colleague at work decided to enrol in fashion school last year, fast forward, I turned into her muse whenever she needed someone to try on her piece before she presents it in school and I benefited cause I got a new fit .
I remember getting to work on a Tuesday and I asked Naa (How I normally call her) what happened to your school project, she replied with excitement; I’m done and you will like it. I need you to try it on. I sighed and said let’s see. When she brought it out, I fell in love.
Not only is it green, the neck line, the A-symmetrical detail, the back cowl and the exaggerated sleeves. I was like after presentation, it’s mine . She laughed and here we are today with me in it ready for date night at Restaurant Home lol.
She’s done with school, have a few things to sort out before graduation but know I’ll be one of the first people to let you know when she launches as a designer.
Pay loving attention to who you are. Continually learn more about the positive side of life, and you will experience life at its absolute best.
